Baba Ghanouj


  1. 1 large eggplant, ( cut in half)
  2. 1/4 cup Tahini sauce
  3. 1 table spoon extra virgin olive oil
  4. 3 cloves of garlic (cut in small pieces)
  5. 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh if possible)
  6. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt

Garnish options:

  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. paprika power
  3. chopped parsely


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Prick the egg plant with a fork.  Wrap the eggplant in foil and put it face down (skin on top).  Bake for about 30 min.  Let it cool and put all the ingredients in the blender (In Blendtec, push the Dip button).
