Hummus

Ingredients:

  1. 1 can of Galbanzo beans  ( keep the juice from the can)
  2. 2 tables poon olive oil
  3. 2 table spoon Tahini sauce
  4. 1 cloves of garlic (cut in small pieces)
  5. 2 table spoon  lemon juice (fresh if possible)
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/4 tea spoon cumin powder
  8. 1/4 tea spoon corriander powder

Garnish options:

  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. paprika power
  3. chopped parsely
  4. chopped tomatoes

Cooking:

Put all the ingredients in the blender.  Also put 1/4 cup of the juice that came out of the galbanzo beans can..  If using the Blendtec Blender push the Dip/Sauces button.

Variations:

  1. Add jalapenos  (depending on your preferece
  2. Add cilantro  1/2 to 1 cup
  3. Add pitted kalamata olives  1/2 cup
  4. Add 1/4 of sundried tomatoes in olive oil
  5. Add roated garlice ( a few cloves to full garlic based on taste)
